We are looking for an experienced and passionate facility manager/grower to lead our research station in Florida. The ideal candidate is an experienced industry professional with a global mindset, a collaborative personality and the ability to lead teams in an inspiring way.

What are you going to do?

As a Breeding Facility Manager, you will be responsible for providing optimum greenhouse and open field facilities for our research and commercial teams. To accomplish this, you work collaboratively towards creating and maintaining excellent growing standards and procedures. You will be a self-starter who can run a professional research station with an entrepreneurial spirit. As Breeding Facility Manager, you will solve issues by getting to the root of the problem and constructively bringing solutions forward. You will give cultivation technical support and you have continuous contact with local and international colleagues on the progress and quality of the crops. You visit vegetable growers to stay up to date on growing trends in the industry.

Requirements Breeding Facility Manager

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Ag Sciences;
  • At least 5 years relevant work experience in horticulture;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
